X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is facing a widespread global outage, leaving users unable to access the app or website. The disruption began around 4:15 PM IST, with thousands reporting issues.

The outage has affected users across multiple regions, with many taking to the platform (once operational for them) to voice their frustrations. One user noted, “X is facing some glitches since morning, especially in the feed section.” Another wrote, “My X is not working at all all of a sudden.”
The platform, now owned by Elon Musk, has not yet released an official statement regarding the cause of the outage or the expected time for resolution.
This incident adds to a series of recent disruptions faced by the platform since its rebranding from Twitter to X, raising concerns among users about platform stability.
